Yes, China is open for the film production already since 2nd half of 2020, as long as the film crews all own their QR Green code, and have been in China last 14 days, it’s ok to operate the production in China.
The answer is yes, but this will take a really long time, and the process below can be challenging:
1. Your foreign crew memebers have to gain the visa, that can be tricky as the visa policies in China during COVID is quite strict, unless you are a ambasstor, or previous own a working visa, the chances are quite small. There is also a possiblity that your client’s company is big such as fortune 500, they can offer the visa invitation and it’s more likely to make it possible.
2. If you gained the visa, you have to get the flight ticket, which is very hard to get in some coutries, then you also need to get the 14-21 days qurantine upon your arrivals.

Not any more, unless it’s a very strictly ruled area, but most area in China are not asked for masks, even if some indoor locations are still require the masks, however, due to the current situation and recent shoot, we have been shooting the cast without the mask on.
We use different platform of IM to achieve that results, plus we can also add QTAKE & Live playback hardware to mount the camera to these platforms, so our clients can easily communicate with the local crews for the actions on set, this has been done for many projects in China, the delay is very small and you can also offer the playback to your clients upon requests.
